2025 has come and gone, so we’d like to take the opportunity to walk down memory lane and highlight some of our favorite moments from the year and look ahead to 2026!
Lots of New Maestro Media Games, All Around the World!

2025 saw 11 brand-new Maestro launches, spanning hundreds of SKUs, and over a dozen countries around the world! Shout out to our new fulfillment partner, Miniature Market, who helped make it all possible :)
What Did Launch You Ask? Well, A Lot!

Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid funded in less than half an hour with over 2,200 backers, helping us bring Clash of Clans to the tabletop. Set to fulfill later this year, we can’t wait for everyone to raid their friends’ bases and claim victory!

The Disney Afternoon REWIND was very ambitious. A first-of-its-kind for us at Maestro, the REWIND system connected all six, yes, six Disney Afternoon board games we created, and we couldn’t be more proud. Thank you to the nearly 2,000 backers who helped make it possible!

Phineas and Ferb: Summer Showdown was made possible by individuals close to the team. Our designer, Lisa Wocken, partnered with our Head of Graphic Design, Peter Wocken, and other members of our team after being inspired by a family favorite cartoon. One flash of brilliance and lots of hard work later, Summer Showdown was born and comes off pre-order next month!

2001: A Space Odyssey. The Board Game shipped globally to fans and retailers around the world. Thank you to Phil Walker-Harding for helping create not only a game that matches strongly with 2001: A Space Odyssey, but also ranks as one of the team’s favorite board games regardless of IP or genre!
Our one-of-a-kind Mewgenics merchandise launch celebrated the expansion of the Edmund McMillen universe, featuring tons of fun goodies from his soon-to-be smash hit! Keep your eyes peeled in the next couple of days for a surprise here as well👀
Brawlhalla: The Card Game was our last project of the year. In collaboration with FLYOS Games, this is our latest and greatest, with more details to come on it later this year :)
Maestro Media In a Store Near You!

2025 marked a strong retail year for us, especially for Hello Kitty: Day at the Park, and Sally Face: Strange Nightmares which were featured heavily in Walmart Canada and Hot Topic as well as FYE, respectively!
Conventions!

We always cherish an opportunity to meet with fans whenever we get the chance to.
SPIEL Essen was our biggest convention presence to date, and we hope everyone who stopped by the booth last year had a blast. We will definitely be coming back in 2026!
We also had meaningful time on the ground at gamescom, Gen Con, Comic-Con International, The Toy Fair, Licensing Expo, and more. In 2026, we hope to continue attending our B2B conventions while finding more opportunities to say hi to fans at shows.
Old Friends, New Games and…Richard Garfield?!?

We aren’t just all not-so-humble brag through.
Fan favorite creator Edmund McMillen’sMewgenics comes out on Steam on February 10th, and with it will undoubtedly come more collaboration and celebration from us!
For fans of the previously mentioned, Sally Face: Strange Nightmares, created by Steve Gabry, look ahead to April of this year for our brand-new standalone expansion, Sally Face: Strange Nightmares - Corruption.

We are also partnering with Richard Garfield, the creator of Magic: The Gathering, and the Three Donkeys team on Summoners War: Sky Arena Duel, launching in March 2026. More details on this in a future blog post and emails :)
That’s all for the first newsletter of 2026! We have a ton of stuff to work towards this upcoming year, including something TOMORROW, so stay tuned. We hope everyone has a great 2026 :)
Until Next Time,
~The Maestro Team
