The Smurfs: Hidden Village is a fun game that can be enjoyed by children and adults. There is a structured difficulty mode that allows the game difficulty to be adjusted to suit the player(s) preference. The rules are fairly straight forward and the iconography is clear, which makes remembering the rules and playing the game streamlined and easy to follow.

For advanced gamers and tabletop game enthusiasts, the game lacks complexity and some of the actions are a bit boring. However, if you enjoy game mechanics such as worker placement, action dice rolling, deck building, and objective fulfillment; there are enough elements to make this a fun game to play with your children ranging from 7yrs-12yrs old.

I give it a 3 star review because it blends several fun game mechanics but lacks depth for experienced gamers.
